Communicating with Familes - a workplace literacy project
Funded through the Tasmanian Government’s 26TEN initiative

This project is focused on improving the written and oral communication skills of educators. The resources, lessons and support materials that are being produced are addedd to a website called Alfresco.

These resources have been prepared as part of a structured approach to improving literacy in specific services. The services involved have carefully assessed their learning needs and prepared a learning plan with the support of an Adult Literacy Support Officer (ALSO).

Educators and services are welcome to use and modify these resources to suit their particular service and educator learning needs, but are encouraged to do this as part of a planned approach. There are support materials on Alfresco that will assist services to do this!
